Bodyfat: 19.7%

Bodyfat is measured by Tabata scales, every morning at about the same time. The morning reading is the worst, probably due the dehydration overnight, that's why I chose it: there is no point of trying to make things look prettier.

Short introduction. Really short.

I am starting this blog to track my progress (or lack thereof) of becoming leaner. I don't have exceptional willpower, neither I have the experience of getting ripped. But I though that posting what I do can increase my chances of success.

Don't worry, there's gonna be no story. I am what I am: 49 year old guy with full time job. Married, two kids, both grown up enough to serve as the excuse of being too busy. So it all comes to the discipline of following through with the plan. I am still not one hundred percent sure how I am going to go about my goal. It looks like there is no way around counting calories, but I need time to get this organized.

The first step in self-help is always in the realization of the problem.So, I am a fat fuck. The next several posts will outline my diet and exercise plan.
